Is it inherent for any goods to live up to their infomercial hype? I have tried many "As Seen on Tv" products in my day, some good and some bad. There are a few that come to mind which have truly performed well and are a great value for the money.

Miracle Blade - I was very skeptical when I bought these knives. I figured for .95 the best I could do would be to get maybe a year of use before I'd have to replace them. That was six years ago. These knives truly work! They stay very sharp and are truly well designed. In particular, the fillet knife, chopping tools and scissors are excellent. Very durable and long lasting. For the price, this is an excellent value.
I have purchased my share of infomercial clunkers (there's a topic for a time to come article) but from my contact the three products mentioned here were all good values.
